OREANDA-NEWS. April 2, 2008. The meeting is taking place at Leningrad NPP. The Finnish delegation is led by STUK Director General Jukka Laaksonen. The parties are discussing the problems of non-destructive field control and modernization of ASCOD system.

Since 1992 Leningrad NPP and STUK have been effectively cooperating in the field of non-destructive control of integrity of components operating under pressure.

The International and Foreign Economic Relations Department of Leningrad NPP says that the parties have done huge work so far, particularly, STUK has supplied Leningrad NPP with modern manual and semi-automated control system and has helped the plant to enhance the qualification of its personnel.
