OREANDA-NEWS. About 27 Moldovan wine companies will participate in an international festival, Spring of Friendships, due to be held in St.Petersburg on 3 April, sources in the Moldova-Vin Agricultural and Industrial Agency have told.

A head of department at Moldova-Vin, Iurie Mudrea, has said that the presentation of Moldovan wines aims at promoting the image of Moldova's alcoholic beverages and establishing business relations on new markets.

The event is organised on the occasion of an ordinary meeting of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States member countries.

To promote the Moldovan wine production on new markets, Moldovan wine-makers will organise a presentation of wines in Sweden on 22-26 April. Moldova started exporting alcoholic beverages to this country in 2007.
