OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2008. Moldova ranks the fifth in the world on alcohol consumption. According to the research of the World Health Organization (WHO), every resident of Moldova over 15 years annually consumes 13,2 litres of alcohol.

According to WHO, Moldova consumes more alcohol than Russia, which ranks 22 and Romania - 26.

According to WHO report, the first place in this list belongs to Uganda, followed by Luxembourg, Ireland and Hungary.
