OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2008. “Azovstal Iron & Steel Works” has put into commission a new 10-storey block of 73 flats in Marshal Zhukov Street in Vostochny neighbourhood. Investments in the project amounted approximately 18 mln. UAH, reported the press-centre of Azovstal Iron & Steel Works.

In the already built house the replanning of rooms according to European standards was carried out. This decision of the Works Administration allowed making the flats for Azovstal employees more comfortable. Azovstal employees have got flats which are equipped with heat conters, cold and hot water counters, metal doors and plastic windows.

This house is the second one which was built for Azovstal employees during recent several years. In July, 2005 “Azovstal Iron & Steel Works” put into commission 14-storey block of 56 flats in Lomizov Street.

Since 2006 there is a favourable mortgage lending system at Azovstal. Within this system CJSC Dongorbank give credits for dwelling purchasing to Azovstal employees with “Azovstal Iron & Steel Works” guarantee for 15 years without initial installment and on favourable terms. Since the moment when the programme has been put into action 199 families of Azovstal employees have used the opportunity to purchase a new dwelling.
