The decrease of production prime cost and increase of product assortment can attract the new clients and increase the market share. The strategic alliance will help the NWTC and Svetoch which are both the strong independent brands to achieve the above goals. The NWTC is the company of the most dynamic development which constantly put into operation new production lines. The NWTC is the biggest manufacturer of exercise-books of European quality on the territory of the former USSR and one of the biggest producers of office papers. The mills of the NWTC perform the complete manufacturing chain starting from the wood-processing and pulp-cooking and ending by production of office paper, exercise-books, drawing albums, folders for drawing and notebooks. “Svetoch” is one of the oldest participants of the market and has the long-term connections with the customers from all the regions of Russia and Russia’s “near abroad”. “Svetoch”’s products have always been modern and of high quality. The production potential of “Svetoch” in paper-stationary assortment can be significantly enhanced due to the above alliance.

Within the framework of the alliance there will be formed the united system of sales. The customer will be able to purchase the full line of paper-stationary goods of high quality. The printing capacity of “Svetoch” along with the soon start-up of modern printing plant at Neman Pulp-and-Paper Mill will make it possible to broaden the assortment of paper-stationary goods.

We plan also to increase “Svetoch”’s production volume on terms of outsourcing at the NWTC’s mills (at Heman PPM and Kamennogorsk Offset Paper Mill). The NWTC plans to purchase the new modern fully-automated equipment for office paper production.
