In RT Government was held the signing of the Contract between "Company of Production-Technical Purchases, Ltd", JSC "Таtenergo" and the leading world suppliers of the equipment for cable production: the companies "Maillefer", "Rosendahl", "Niehoff", "Caballe". On behalf of foreign partners in the negotiations participated Jorma Leppanen, Director for "Equipment for Production of Mid and High Voltage" of Finish company "Maillefer", Vitali Meschanov, head of representative office in Russia and Alexander Chamov, his Deputy. The partners from "Rosendahl" (Austria) were presented by Gerhard Yakopich, Director for sales and Gennadi Ulianov, Director of Russian representative office. On behalf of German supplier of "Niehoff" came Bernd Lemuller, Sale Director and Fedor Shilkov, representative of the company in RF. On behalf of Spanish partner "Caballe" spoke Victor Holli, General Director and Maxim Ulianov, representative in Russia. Republic of Tatarstan was presented by Minister of Economy and Industry of RT Marat Safiullin, General Director of JSC "Таtenergo" Ilshat Fardiev, Director of "PPTK, Ltd" Elbek Safayev, Director of the factory under construction "Таtkabel" Victor Miller.

"I am sure that the Russian market of cable-conductor products just wakes today, - said the Premier of RT. - The demand for this product will grow. Development of processing, oil, mechanical industries will require the power capacities. We have to think of further prospects and production of the modern power cables" - said the Premiere of RT Rustam Minnikhanov.

For the development of the power cluster the Republicаn group of companies "INVENT" (Investments in power technologies) in Stolbishche settlement was organized the productions of as part of the project "Sinergia". "Таtkabel" will be the one more company, producing equipment according to the advanced technologies for power engineering. On the space of 19 th. sq.m. will be production of the self-bearing insulated cables of voltage up to 35 kV, cables of voltage up to 6 kV - both shielded and unshielded in fire-proof, three- five-conductor version, as well as the power cables of voltage 10-220 kV of section up to 2,000 sq. mm. Projected capacity of the factory is 1,500 tn/month in coal and 1,000 tn/month in aluminum. Full investments from the group of companies "INVENT" will be Euro 40 million.

Foreign companies, that signed with "PPTK, Ltd" the supply contract for 22.5 m. Euro. Are the leaders in their industries. The company NIEHOFF (Germany), producing the stranding equipment fro production of prefabricated cables, has the 50% share on the world market and 85% share of the Russian electro-technical market. Sales were Euro 18 million in 2007. ROSENDAHL, producing equipment for insulating the conductors, works 60 years on the market and has the 52% of the world production. Annual turnover - Euro 150 million. CABALLE, with annual turnover Euro 72 million was founded in 1946 and is the biggest producer of stranding equipment. The "Maillefer" with annual turnover Euro 160 million produces equipment for any use cables. During negotiations the Premier of RT suggested further cooperation with these foreign companies.

The first turn of "Таtkabel" factory will be commissioned in May 2009, the second - in September 2009. According to the agreement the foreign partners will train our specialists at their premises who will further operate the supplied equipment.
