OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2008. OJSC “Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation” has paid OJSC “AlphaStrakhovanie” 2,75 million rubles (USD 117 ths) of reinsurance compensation on the fact of livestock’s death. Payment is made within the limits of contracts of facultative reinsurance.

Under contracts of direct insurance, several agricultural companies of Tatarstan insured 2,3 thousand goals of large horned livestock (the cow of breed Goltshino Frieze, brought from Germany). The insurance sum under contracts of livestock’s insurance has exceeded 165 million rubles (more over USD 2 mln).

The reason of a case became the infectious disease in agricultural companies in spring, 2007. Experts have confirmed that livestock’s death is an insurance case.

After reception of a full package of documents under losses “Transsib Re” has made a decision to pay reinsurance compensation of the share at a rate of more 2,75 million rubles.
