OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2008. On the 27-th of February 2008 "Megabank" has been licensed by the National Bank of Ukraine to execute operations with currency values, in part of operations with bank metals at international markets. Thus, now "Megabank" has an opportunity to self-execute the purchase of bank metals with the fixation of cost as of a certain date, and also execute operations with bank metals at international markets in non-cash form.

According to the license nowadays "Megabank" executes the whole body of operations stipulated by the Law of Ukraine "On Banks and Banking Activities". As of today only 20 banks out of existing 176 in Ukraine have the license of the National Bank of Ukraine to execute operations with bank metals at international markets. By now "Megabank" is the only bank having such a license out of all banks registered in Kharkiv City.
