"Azov-City" Does Not Promote Attraction of Capital Investments
OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2008. The site of a southern gambling zone "Azov-city" does not promote attraction of capital investments, which is stated in the published report of the American company “Spectrum Gaming Group” on Internet site of Rostov area, who carried out complex research with the purpose of an objective estimation of expediency of gambling zone.
It is stated in the report, that allocated area under accommodation of a gambling zone is located far from the nearest large settlement. At the moment, a narrow road with two lanes leads to the area, which is not enough for mass transportation logistics; the infrastructure in the area is not present.
In connection with this issue, it will be difficult to convince clients to travel to such far away zone, personnel – travel to work so far every day, investors - to make large investments until the administration of Rostov and-or the government of the Russian Federation will not incur the obligation on improvement of conditions for transportation and infrastructure.
Also it is informed, that, according to results of interrogation lead by the company, representatives of international gambling institutions are afraid to invest money in gaming of Russia.
Fears of investors are caused by instability of laws on gambling, corruption, lack of qualitative or transparent regulation of gaming.
