On 26 March 2008 COMSTAR – United TeleSystems, the leading supplier of integrated telecommunication solutions in Russia and the CIS, announced that on March 18, 2008 the company's Board of Directors took an absentee vote and approved the list of candidates for the COMSTAR-UTS' Board of Directors to be elected on the extraordinary general meeting of the COMSTAR-UTS' shareholders on April 14, 2008.
