OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 March 2008 was announced, that representatives of IDGC of Centre’s structural divisions within two days, on March 24 and 25, were trained in the basic operations of the ARIS system. Classes are held by Fainomika Consulting Company which is IDGC of Centre's partner.

'It is very important to train right now IDGC employees in the given software', Anna Serdyukova, Head of the seminar, Chief of the Information Systems Organization Department of Fainomika Company said, 'as it is the central apparatus that organizes the large-scale project for description of the basic business processes (BP) with use of ARIS. IDGC of Centre will be the uniform operational company; therefore, interaction between divisions of the company must be described for formation of the uniform process-focused management system within the limits of the operational company. ARIS facilitates this process. Our task is to generate a uniform repository of business-models and to provide its maximum effective use.'

The seminar gives basic knowledge of the integrated information system outline. It acquaints listeners with all kinds of ARIS products, specifies differences of similar software products. Besides the obvious art function, there are opportunities of modeling in the program. ARIS allows to analyze, describe within a uniform format and to supervise processes of the company. ARIS allows to describe activity of the company from the various points of view: functional, organizational, and process structure of the enterprise.

'In a word, this product is cut out for easy management by the enterprise having the territorially-distributed structure and complex interrelations', Anna Serdyukova commented. 'Therefore, we aim at training experts inside the divisions. Similar training is held in all DGC of the company’s configuration'.

Let's remind that ARIS Process Performance Manager (PPM) software product was chosen as the uniform standard for expansion of corporate information system, introduction of the process approach in management and improvement of IDGC of Centre's activity.

Work on improvement of business-processes with use of BPM-platform of ARIS was initiated in IDGC of Centre in 2004. The first project was connected with development of the strategic purposes and construction of the balanced scorecards system. In 2006 the company engaged in optimization and unification of business-processes within the limits of SAP R/3 implementation and the quality management system.

The purpose of the project on creation and introduction of the system of process controlling on the basis of ARIS PPM for the company is increase of transparency and business processes quality, their management efficiency, definition of actual degree and actual level of automation of controllable processes. All this allowed to create preconditions for the organization in the company of full life cycle of business processes management on the ARIS uniform platform including development of strategy, designing of processes, their introduction and controlling.
