OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 March 2008 was announced, that at Crimea TITAN CJSC there was a visit republican meeting chaired by vice-prime minister of Crimea Administration for Agricultural Sector Nikolay Kolisnichenko. The meeting dealt with issues of supplying farm producers with mineral fertilizers and carrying out of land protection and efficient land use regional program.

The following chiefs took part in the meeting: the leadership of Ministry of Agricultural Sector with a minister of agricultural policy Pavel Akimov, a deputy minister of agricultural policy of Crimea Nikolay Poljushkin, a chief of crop production administration of Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Crimea Sergey Khmelevskiy, representatives of republican environment protection committee – 1st vice-chairman of environment protection committee of Crimea Alexander Lesov, a chief of State inspection for control of land use and land protection of Crimea Valentin Djachenko, the heads of district public administrations, the chiefs of district agricultural administrations, the chiefs of enterprises, scientists.

The Chief of the Board of Crimea TITAN CJSC Alexander Nechaev advised participants of visit meeting of main lines of enterprise activity, its technical reequipment, introduction of energy-efficient technology and also informed of mineral fertilisers production output, including ammophos.

For the moment Crimea TITAN CJSC is major supplier of phosphoric fertilizers for Ukrainian market. Crimea ammophos is of high quality and fully meets European standards, nowadays it is supplied to 14 regions of Ukraine and 10 countries of the world.

Recently the reequipment of ammophos workshop was carried out. This reequipment allowed Crimea TITAN CJSC to increase mineral fertilisers production output up to 12 thous. tons per month.

Day before visit meeting Ukrainian mineral fertilisers manufacturers and representatives of agricultural producers signed an actions coordination paper. According to this paper the mineral fertilisers manufacturers is obliged to assure mineral fertilisers production and fertilisers supply for agricultural producers at the period of carrying out field works in January-June 2008. Among the enterprises: Crimea TITAN CJSC, Sumykhimprom JSC, Odessa harbor works JSC, Dneproazot JSC, Severodonetsk Azot Association CJSC, Azot JSC (Cherkassy), Rivneazot JSC, Concern STIROL JSC and Dneprovskiy mineral fertilisers plant CJSC. The paper coordinates limit transfer prices of enterprises for the production. On the part of agricultural producers the paper was signed by All-Ukrainian Union of Agricultural Enterprises, Association of Farmers and Land Holders of Ukraine, Ukrainian National Association of Agricultural Chemistry “Ukrselhozhimia”.

During the meeting a special attention was paid to the issues of phosphogypsum supply (manufactured by Crimea TITAN CJSC) to the agricultural producers of Crimea under in force regional program of soil capabilities protection. Phosphogypsum constituting production waste during ammophos production is effective chemical ameliorant. Application of gypsum on soils allows keeping good balance of phosphorus in soils improving soil capabilities and prevents degradation of farmland. Nowadays in the territory of Crimea TITAN CJSC – there is own vineyard and 5 ha stone fruits garden; breaking up of these soils and dieting of plants is performed using phosphogypsum and ammophos. Thus, all products are tested and successfully applied at the plant itself.
