OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2008. ROSNO’s Krasnoyarsk branch has insured the Audi A8L armored under B6/B7 standards for over 19 million roubles.

The Audi A8L, manufactured in 2007, has been insured under the Regional Car Lease program against such risks as theft, fire, and damage to the car. The insurance amount is 19 mln 719 thousand roubles.

B6/B7 code means the highest level of car protection. Under this standard, armor is made sandwich-like, consisting of two layers of high-strength steel. Therefore, such car may successfully withstand impact of high-power military munitions, such as 7.62 mm Kalashnikov assault rifle bullets and hand grenades.

This contract is unique for ROSNO’s Krasnoyarsk branch, since it is for the first time that insurance coverage is provided for an armored car.
