March 25, 2008.  They discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, in particular cooperation in the field of industrial collaboration, as well as the situation in the Middle East, the Arab-Israeli settlement, and the problem of the Iranian nuclear dossier.

The main topic of discussion was cooperation in the field of nuclear energy, the result of which was the signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt on Collaboration in Civil Nuclear Energy.

After the Russian-Egyptian talks, Vladimir Putin and Hosni Mubarak made press statements and answered journalists' questions.
