OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2008.  Neftekamskiy Avtozavod OAO (the subsidiary company of KAMAZ Inc.) won the tender for bus deliveries announced by the city hall of Yekaterinburg.

100 buses bearing the trademark of NEFAZ-5299-20-32 will be delivered to Yekaterinburg in 2008. RUB 250 million are reserved in the municipal budget for renewal of the bus fleet.

It’s planned that a municipal contract will be concluded with the winner of the tender till 28 March. In the course of year the buses will be delivered to Yekaterinburg step by step, 10-15 vehicles a month. In the first place, they will be sent to replace old equipment, complete routes and service remote territories. It should be noted that transport workers of Yekaterinburg already run NEFAZ buses and have the base for their maintenance.
