OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 March 2008 was announced, that on November 25 to 28, Delhi will host the Russian National Exhibition intended to become the central event of the Year of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India.

The Exhibition will be organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation and operated by OAO “GAO All-Russia Exhibition Center”.

The motto of the Exhibition is “Russian and India: from constructive dialog to efficient cooperation.

The relationship between Russia and India is based on the similarity of national interests and implemented in accordance with the Declaration of strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Republic of India and the Joint Declaration of strengthening and building up economic and technological cooperation.

Subjects of the Exhibition: Power engineering, civil aviation, railroad transport, metallurgy, mining industry, automotive industry, civil engineering, information technologies and telecommunications, food industry, small and medium-size business, medicine, education, engineering services, Russian investment projects, marketing, travel services, etc.

The Russian National Exhibition will occupy an area of 6000 sq. m.

The exposition will comprise 5 sections:

The Introductory Section will offer general information about the Russian Federation, high-priority national projects, photo and art shows, and “Meeting Russia” movie.

The Section “Innovations” will demonstrate cooperation in the area of innovations, attractive investment and development projects for various sectors, innovative infrastructure, government support, venture projects, software and web-technologies in power engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, petrochemical, mining, aerospace, pharmaceutical industries and other science–intensive sectors.

The Section “Russian Investment Projects” will introduce attractive regional investment projects, economic situation and investment environment, conditions and warranties for investors. The visitors will be demonstrated the size of government support of PPP-based investment projects, projects of the Investment Fund of the Russian Federation.

The Section “Russian - Indian Export Potential” will present competitive products of Russian manufacturers offered in the Indian market and reflecting the relevant trends of commercial and economic cooperation in power engineering, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, within the specified technological and industrial framework.

There will be a fair arranged to sell souvenirs, handicrafts, and other products.

The Exhibition will feature an extensive business program covering conferences, workshops, round tables, professional contacts exchange in the specified areas involving heads of ministries and departments, unions of industrialists and entrepreneurs, other non-government organizations and business quarters, men of culture, science, education, public health leaders of Russia and India.
To ensure efficient involvement of exhibitors in the Russian National Exhibition, create favorable conditions for conducting negotiations, establishing partnerships, OAO “GAO VVC” in conjunction with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry will implement the Partner Program, invite the professionals specified by the participants as well as arrange negotiations with the leaders of executive and municipal authorities and individual companies.

Invited to participate in the Russian National Exhibition are scientific institutions and industrial companies, foreign trade associations, government corporations, public research centers, higher educational institutions, small and medium businesses, funds, technoparks, innovative technological centers, centers for international technological cooperation.
