Military Personnel Will Live in Shcherbinka Area
OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 March 2008 was announced, that members of the Russian armed forces are to start to move into flats in the houses built for them in Shcherbinka area in the latter half of March 2008. It was declared by Vladimir Resin, first deputy city mayor of Moscow in the Moscow city government, within the traditional Saturday perambulate through the city building sites on March 22.
The flats in two buildings of the neighbourhood 1 (2A) are to start being moved into by March 20, the flats in two buildings of the neighbourhood 2 – by March 22, the flats in three buildings of the neighbourhood 1 (2A), three buildings of the neighbourhood 2, six buildings of the neighbourhood 3 – by March 25.
A new school is to be commissioned in the neighbourhood 3 of Shcherbinka by August 15 at the latest. Two new kindergartens are to open by September 1. One more kindergarten will be placed in operation in the neighbourhood 2 in May. A children’s polyclinic is to be put up in the same neighbourhood.
“We have built the housing for the military personnel. It will be moved into at the stated time,” Mr Resin said. The official added that in total Moscow gave 4,000 flats, including 3,760 in Shcherbinka, to the military personnel of Department of Defense of the Russian Federation in 2008.
The first deputy city mayor of Moscow noted that Moscow would proceed with developing Shcherbinka, the construction of social housing was planned in the neighbourhoods 1 and 4.
