OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2008. The Days of Indian Cinema will take place in Gomel on March 25-27.

The Days will open in Kalinina Cinema on March 25. Attending the event will be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Belarus Rajenda Kumar Tyagi and other representatives of the foreign embassy.

A special concert programme has been prepared by Indian students from Gomel State Medical University. Today, the university educates nearly 100 Indians.

The social drama Third Page and melodramas Dhadkan, Fiza, My Country and We Will Be Together will be screened in the central cinema of Gomel and Oktyabr Cinema. The major goal of the Days is to popularize national traditions and culture of India.
