OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2008. The Gazprom Headquarters hosted a working meeting between Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Harufumi Mochizuki, Director General of the Natural Resources and Energy Agency, Japan's Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry.

In the course of the meeting Alexander Ananenkov and Harufumi Mochizuki addressed the progress with the execution of the Agreement of Cooperation entered into between Gazprom and the Japanese Natural Resources and Energy Agency as well as issues dedicated to the fulfillment of agreements reached in December 2007 between both organizations at the second meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee in Tokyo.

The parties paid special attention to the prospects of interaction within the Eastern Program, including to issues related to sci-tech cooperation as well as gas processing and chemicals facilities creation in Eastern Siberia.
