OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2008. The federal law introduces changes to the relevant article of the Criminal Procedural Code of the Russian Federation. In light of this change any proceedings involving persons who benefit from immunity in Russian territory, as a result of the international treaties of the Russian Federation or the generally recognized principles and norms of international law, will be carried out with the consent of the state or international organization associated with the person enjoying immunity.
