OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 March 2008 was announced, that Georgian Airways recommences air transportation with Moscow. The late evening round-trip Tbilisi-Moscow-Tbilisi service will be performed daily.

Air communication between Georgia and Russia as well as other transport connection was aborted by Russian side in October, 2006.

Yesterday, March 19th, Russian aviation authorities informed Georgia on their consent to recommence the air communication from March, 25 2008 based on existing arrangements between the aviation authorities of both countries concerning operation of dedicated airlines’ services, - Russian Department of Transportation reported.
