OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 March 2008 was announced, that Gorshenev Victor Stepanovich appointed First Deputy General Director (former Deputy General Director of Zarubezhneft JSC).

Garibyan Artem Levonovich appointed Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance.

Mr. Garibyan was born on January 27, 1975. He graduated from Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance.

Before appointment to the position of Deputy General Director of Zarubezhneft JSC he was Deputy Governor of the Nenets Autonomous District – Head of the Representative Office of the Administration of the Nenets Autonomous District in Moscow.

Smirnov Yury Leonidovich appointed Deputy General Director.

Mr. Smirnov was born on July 21, 1960. He graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic Institute (exploration department). He has extensive experience in geology and oil and gas field development. During his career he served at several oil and gas production enterprises: Ermakovneft, Samatlorneft, Tumenneftegas JSC (Deputy Director), TNK-Nyagan JSC (Deputy General Director), Nobel Oil CJSC (Executive Director), Nenets Oil Company (First Deputy General Director).

Before appointment to the position of Deputy General Director of Zarubezhneft JSC he worked as Acting General Director of Nenets Oil Company.

Yury L. Smirnov will be responsible for operational procedures (geology and field development, preparation and implementation of projects, project evaluation, construction of oil and gas facilities, etc.).

Makarov Nikolay Aleksandrovich appointed Deputy General Director.

Prior to the current position, he served as Deputy Head of Vietnamese Oilfield Development Department.

Nikolay A. Makarov will take responsibility for Russian-Vietnamese projects (field development in Vietnam, commercial and legal support of projects, equipment and materials supply).
