OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 March 2008 was announced, that the policy of IDGC of Centre is first of all to act for the benefit of the clients. Concentration of the grid complex in hands of one reliable owner - this is the task the company's management aimed at since the day of its establishment.

'There should not be ownerless networks in the areas, there should be one structure responsible for electricity supply’, General Director of IDGC of Centre Evgeniy Makarov said. 'This is the policy of many companies including the European countries. We have realized these projects in several regions '.

Thus, in 2004, in Stary Oskol, and five years ago in other areas of the Belgorod territory, there was an integration of the enterprises of the large and small-scale (municipal) power of the area. As a result, a uniform grid company was set up on the territory of the area, which allowed to integrate network assets of the area and create a uniform center of the responsibility for optimum state of the grid complex of the region. According to V. Filatov, the today's victory of the Stary Oskol people became the direct result of this consolidation. Chairman of the Commission for the Prices and Tariffs State Regulation of the Belgorod area Valentin Kolodezny is of the same opinion.

After the merge, the development, including that of the electric network complex of Stary Oskol, passed within the uniform technical policy of IDGC of Centre. It was expressed in realization of the scale investment programs, implementation of modern technologies, equipment, materials in manufacture that considerably raised quality and reliability of electricity supply of consumers.

For comparison: if in 2004 the sum of 44 million rubles was spent for modernization of the electric networks of Stary Oskol and the area, in 2007 the volume of investments exceeded 225 million rubles. For the last period, hundreds of kilometers of new transmission lines were constructed on the territory, equipment of ODU (open distribution unit)-35 kV was reconstructed at Stary Oskol-1 substation - one of the basic feeding city centers. In 2007 electric supply of more than 500 houses in the Severny and Lesnaya Polyana individual housing construction areas is provided, streets of settlements were provided with 1,189 new streetlights, more than 90 kilometers of networks of external illumination are reconstructed and constructed. The major event of the year became creation of the networks management center in the industrial branch, which united functions of the city and regional electric networks facilities operative management. All this proves that the power complex of Stary Oskol develops quickly and in the future can meet increasing needs of the economy of the area for new capacities. The victory of Stary Oskol Power Grid industrial branch of JSC Belgorodenergo in the All-Russia Competition for the best enterprise in the sphere of housing and utilities services for 2007 proves right policy of IDGC of Centre.

Pavel Shishkin, Head of the Stary Oskol city district handed over the certificates of honour to them. He thanked employees of the enterprise for high degree of quality of consumer service, uninterrupted electricity supply, skill to solve operatively all the arising issues and to compromise in the most difficult situations.

The Head marked professionalism of the team of the branch and said that 'indisputable acknowledgement of the good work is the deserved award received on the All-Russia level'.

Constructive cooperation is a basis of interaction of the power company and authorities. Valentin Kolodezny, Chairman of the Commission for the Prices and Tariffs State Regulation of the Belgorod area told this in his performance addressing winners of the competition. 'It is pleasant that our disputes and discussions of the decisions directed to optimization of the outline of the power of the area, including Stary Oskol, are resulted in such pleasant actions as awarding of the team. And you really deserved this', he emphasized. 'Sometimes we overlook your work because light in the house is for us something natural. But in fact, light is the houses is the result of huge work of many people. Please accept the best thanks of the Government of the area'.

'Participation in the competition was not our goal. We worked like any enterprise of the Belgorod power supply system', Chief of Stary Oskol Power Grid industrial branch Sergey Kulikov said. 'But we are certainly very pleased with the high estimation of results of daily activity of the enterprise. The award which we received imposes a certain responsibility. In the future we shall try to work with the maximal feedback developing the electric network complex of Stary Oskol and providing a strong basis for social and economic development of the region'.
