OREANDA-NEWS. March 20, 2008. This year Ukraine is planning to increase extraction of crude oil and gas condensate by 1.63% to 4.5 million tons, according to Fuel and Energy Ministry.

In 2007 production of petroleum and condensate fell 1.9%, as compared to 2006, to 4,428 tons.

Kyiv-based OJSC Ukrnafta, which belongs to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, is the biggest oil producer in Ukraine.
