OREANDA-NEWS.  March 20, 2008. The results of the first stage of the first national creative contest "Mission Possible. Your Mission is a Financier" have been established. The basic task of the contest conducted by the Academy of Finance of the Russian Federation Government was "to support intellectually and creatively gifted graduates" of secondary schools. According to Professor Mikhail Eskindarov, President of the Academy of Finance, the contest will help talented schoolchildren from the depth of the country have excellent education.

On the first stage the contestants were offered mathematical, Russian and foreign language, and economic geography assignments to be done in writing and sent via e-mail (or ordinary mail) to the jury.

The second stage will take place in Moscow. It should be noted that the majority of the contestants (21 out of 31) will come from the regions of the Russian Federation. To enable all the contestants who have passed the first stage to continue their participation in the contest, Bank of Moscow will pay their fares and accommodations.

The contest winners will become known on the second stage. The main prize is a budget paid enlistment to the corresponding departments of the most prestigious higher education institution of the country — the Academy of Finance of the Russian Federation Government.
