OREANDA-NEWS.  March 20, 2008. Stroytransgaz has completed the first annual competition among its subdivisions for best-organized work in 2007 in the areas of environmental protection and employee health and safety. The contest began on November 15, 2007.
   
The goal of this competition is to improve the company’s work in environmental protection and employee health and safety as well as to improve systems for managing the environment and protecting workers.

First-, second- and third-level diplomas for the “Best Stroytransgaz Subdivision in the Areas of Environmental and Worker Protection in 2007” and cash prizes were awarded to Novy Urengoy branch № 2 and the Irkutsk and Vidnoe branches, respectively.

Diplomas for the “Best Stroytransgaz Employee in the Area of Environmental Protection in 2007” and valuable prizes went to environmetnal engineers Olga Lesovskaya (Novy Urengoy branch № 2), Olga Zatsepina  (Irkutsk branch), and Elina Mezentseva, head of the Office for Quality Control (Krasnoyarsk branch).

Diplomas for the “Best Stroytransgaz Employee in the Area of Worker Protection in 2007” and valuable prizes were awarded to physician-pathologist Ekaterina Orlova (Medical Administration, Head Office), inspector for safety and environmental protection procedures Rystam Sadykov (Department of Construction for the Arab Gas Pipeline, Syrian branch), and chief engineer Victor Klyuev (Vidnoe branch).

In the future, Stroytransgaz plans to expand the number of organizations that are allowed to participate in the competition and improve the system for tallying results.

An order has been prepared commending the winning subdivisions and employees of the company.
