OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 March 2008 was announced, that Concern "Stirol", implementing its strategical approach of its innovation policy (resources and energy saving) after made modernizations, is able to reach European efficiency parameters in the sphere of natural gas usage for basic chemicals production and also for resources conservation (including gas resources) used for energy needs.

As example in January 2008 the Company against the background of production rates increase by 93 mln. 215 thousands gryvnas decreased natural gas consumption by 3 mln. 900 thousands cubic meters compared to January 2007. In February 2008, despite production rise by 95 mln. 558 thousands grv., the Company lowered natural gas consumption by 8 mln. 951 thousands cub.m. comparing to the same period of 2007.

Provided that during January 2008 gas portion in total cost of manufactured production was 60,4%, during February this indicator had decreased to 58,1%. At the same time portion of net energy resources in production cost of JSC "Stirol" is on the level of the best European companies (less than 20%).
