OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2008. Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant (Zlatoust, Chelyabinsk region, part of ESTAR Group) organized the 3rd mini-football tournament for children for the prize of the enterprise’s management.

As Inna Gladisheva, press secretary of JSC ZMP, informed UralPressInform, 15 teams representing all the educational centres of Zlatoust Metallurgical district participated in the competitions. The three leaders were chosen only after finishing. The triumph procession of the team of school #23 that did not lose a single encounter and drew the game only once was a quite logical leading result in the junior group. The team won the last game with the team of school #8 with the score 2:0. The third place in the group belongs to the team of school #25.

In the senior group one single ball was the decisive one in the fight for leadership – 2:1 – and the Cup went to the Metallurgical College. But the two following lines were firmly occupied by the teams of school #8. The best players of the tournament were Dmitry Rogov (school #23) and Sergey Zhilyaev (school #18). The winners were awarded prizes by the ZMP management.
