OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2008. The President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing the Turkmenawtoyollary State Concern to conclude the contract for design and construction of 90 highways bridges amounted to US\\$ 287.5 million with the Turkish Company NET Yapi we Tijaret Limited Sirketi. These include 31 bridges on the Archman-Turkmenbashi section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenbashi highway; 31 bridges on the Anau-Mary section of the Ashgabat-Mary highway; 20 bridges on the Turkmenabat-Farab highway; 9 bridges on the Ashgabat-Karakum-Dashoguz highway. The construction works are to be started in March 2008 and the bridges are to be put into operation in March 2010.
