OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 March 2008 was announced, that Poltavaoblenergo will hold an AGM on May 14, during which it plans to make changes to the executive and supervisory boards as well as the audit committee. The agenda also includes the approval of 2007 financial results and income distribution.

Poltavaoblenergo has failed to conduct an AGM since 2001 due to a protracted conflict between its two main shareholders, i.e. Energy Standard and Privat Group. Therefore, we doubt the AGM will take place in May unless privatization happens by that time, which should single out the owner of the controlling stake.
