OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2008. Ukraine and Nigeria are willing to develop cooperation in oil and gas industry, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry press service reported.

In the course of the meeting of Ukrainian Ambassador to Nigeria Oleh Skoropad with that country's Oil Minister Odein Ajumogobia, Ukraine's interest in extension of presence in Nigeria's oil and gas sector was confirmed.

In his turn, the Minister showed interest in the use of Ukrainian experience and technologies in search, development and operation of oil and gas deposits, as well as modernization of oil processing industry, oil and gas transportation infrastructure of that country. He emphasized that Nigeria would welcome arrival of Ukrainian investors in the branch.
