OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 March 2008 was announced, that the results of FEZ enterprises-residents work for the year 2007 are the evidence that Free Economic Zone Gomel-Raton has positive dynamics of development. In the year 2007 the share of direct foreign investments in total investments volume of FEZ amounted 78%. The share of FEZ in total direct foreign investments volume of Gomel region amounted 29,1 %, of the city of Gomel – 48,6 %. In the year 2007 the rate of growth of investments to the FEZ enterprises-residents fixed capital at the expense of own and obtained funds amounted 163,6 % in comparison with the level of the year 2006.

In total the volume of products (works, services) the FEZ enterprises produced has grown by 44,4 % in comparison with the year 2006. Foreign trade turnover volume of the FEZ enterprises-residents has grown more then by 150%. The rate of growth of products (works, services) export amounted 155,3 % in comparison with the level of the year 2006. The balance of foreign trade turnover is positive. The rate of growth of products export is 6,2 % higher then the rate of growth of import.
