OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2008. ROSNO’s Povolzh’e Directorate paid the agricultural enterprise Borisoglebovka Ltd. (Fedorovsky District, Saratov Region) an insurance compensation of 6,160,902 for the burned-out tractor.

The fire started during ploughing after inflammation in the tractor’s fuel system, leading to its depressurization. It is not possible to determine the exact reason of inflammation, since the fuel tank has been completely destroyed by the fire. Fortunately, the tractor operator has not been hurt.

The tractor CHALLENGER MT 865 was insured in ROSNO in May 2007 against the following risks: fire, lightning stroke, explosion, aircraft impact, storm and hail, other natural disasters, damage by water, and illegal third-party actions.

The above event has been recognized as an insured accident, and the insurance compensation has been paid in full.
