OREANDA-NEWS. March 13, 2008. The Company is replacing its electrical centralisation relay-type devices with the EBI Lock 950, a microprocessor centralisaton system produced by Bombardier Transportation (Signal).

The new EBI Lock 950 system will be installed at 12 stations and 4 lines in 2007 and at a further 16 stations and 4 lines in 2008.

Installing the EBI Lock 950 system will significantly increase safety on the track because of its multilevel control regime. It will also allow Russian Railway to manage objects at many stations and lines from one work station, lead to a reduction in the volume of construction work during installation and reduce operating costs by an average of 30%.

In addition, the small size of the equipment will enable the Company to replace the obsolete systems without building new posts.

So far, the microprocessor-based system EBI Lock 950 has been installed at 65 stations on Russia's railway network with a total capacity of 1,700 switching points and 200 km of automatic blocking. ergy Consulting took part in conference on financial institutes' automatization

In the end of speech he told about suppliers of BPM systems and supplements integration that present on the market and general guides for selection.

2nd All-Russian conference "Financial institutes' automanization: IT infrastructure of insurance business in Russia" passed on the 11th of March in Moscow, Swissotel and gathered more then 50 financial companies representatives.
