OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2008. The total volume of direct foreign investments in the economy of Donetsk region (East Ukraine) in 2008 will run into USD 1.9 billion, which is 35.7% more than last year.

This volume of foreign investments is envisaged by the 2008 program for social and economic development of the region.

At the cost of implementation of investment projects, production volume of goods, work and services will reach UAH 20.3 billion (UAH 5.05 / USD 1).
