OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2008. Russian Railways is to undertake a comprehensive reconstruction of the stretch between Trubnaya - Baskunchak - Aksaraiskaya on Privolzhskoy Railways, a branch of Russian Railways.

In 2008, Russian Railways will invest more than 1.8 billion roubles in this project, which is due to start this year and aims to develop the infrastructure and increase the capacity of the stretch, which is over 364 km. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2010.
