OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2008. Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan signed a number of bilateral documents at the negotiations of the two countries’ official delegations in Tashkent on 10 March.

Presidents Islam Karimov and Gubranguli Berdimuhamedov signed the joint Uzbek-Turkmen communiquй and the protocol on exchange of ratifications of the agreement on strengthening friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, signed in Ashgabat on 18 October 2007.

Other signed documents include intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in government communications and in the agro-industrial complex, as well as the protocol of cooperation between the foreign ministries.
