OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 February the flag of KAMAz Inc. was hoisted on the highest mountain peak of South America and the Western Hemisphere – Akonkagua (Argentina).

KAMAZ started conquering South America, on the territory of which there will be held the rally Dakar-2009. The height of Akonkagua which is situated in the heart of the Andes is 6 692 meters.

The flag of KAMAZ Inc. was hoisted on the peak by Mikhail N. Stasyukov, President of the Auto Corporation GRUZOMOBIL. A year ago Stasyukov hoisted the flag of the company on the volcano of Kilimanjaro (Africa).
