OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2008. Consumer prices in Latvia increased 16.7 percent in February year-on-year, as the Central Statistical Bureau said.

Prices for goods increased 16.7 percent, and prices for services 16.5 percent.

As reported, inflation in 2007 reached 14.1 percent, which was the highest inflation recorded in Latvia over the past ten years. Inflation in 2006 was 6.8 percent.
