OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2008. Head of Ukrainian Gov’t announced during the meeting with Bronisіaw Komorowski, Speaker of Polish Sejm.

According to Yulia Tymoshenko the Government is working at the package of propositions directed to intensifying of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland including at the propositions concerning holding of the finals of European Football Championship Euro- 2012.

These propositions, according to her, will be presented during the interstate sitting of Ukrainian-Polish Commission in Warsaw March 19 – 20.

Prime Minister of Ukraine assured the Speaker of Polish Sejm Bronisіaw Komorowski that draft laws concerning organisation of this weighty event will be supported not only by the democratic coalition but other factions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as the deputies possess full understanding that adoption of such documents will definitely improve investment climate in Ukraine.

In the process of the meeting Yulia Tymsohenko aired her hopes that operation of Ukrainian Parliament will not be blocked any longer as none of people’s deputies is concerned in pre-term elections.

Besides, the event’s achievement was announcing that all details of run-up for European Football Championship finals are intended to be discussed during the next visit of Prime Minister of Poland to Ukraine.
