Domestic Total Oil Output Up by 0,9% y/y in Jan-Feb
OREANDA-NEWS. March 03, 2008. Domestic oil and gas condensate output increased by 0,9% y/y to 80,105mn tons in Jan-Feb 2008, the Industry and Energy Ministry said.
The leader in the reporting period was Rosneft, which produced 18,661mn tons of oil. It was followed by LUKOIL (14,729mn tons), TNK-BP (11,16mn tons), Surgutneftegas (10,172mn tons), Gazprom Neft (5,191mn tons), Tatneft (4,32mn tons), Slavneft (3,282mn tons) and RussNeft (2,343mn tons).
In 2007 Russia ’s oil output increased by 2,2% y/y to 491,481mn tons. In the same report ministry informs that primary oil refining in Jan-Feb increased by 4,9% y/y to 38,885mn tons.
In January, oil exports went up by 1,7% y/y to 20,46mn tons, out of which 17,83mn tons were exported to non-CIS countries (0,9% y/y increase) and 2,63mn tons were exported to CIS countries (7,5% y/y increase).
Meanwhile, FinMin official said that average price of Urals blend oil in Jan-Feb 2008 went up by 75% y/y to USD 90,53 per barrel.
