OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 March 2008 was announced, that Rostekhnadzor Administration of the Irkutsk area did not reveal rough infringements as a result of checks of power stations in the region. According to the information provided earlier by the Administration, checks were off-schedule, in connection with the failure which occurred on February 9 at Ulan-Ude Thermal Power Station-1.

In total, eight thermal power stations were checked. The special attention was given to the technical condition and organization of operation of gas and oil systems of turbogenerators and synchronous compensators, systems of fire extinction. There were no infringements of operation of switching centers which were the reason of failure in Ulan-Ude.

Besides, it was reported that in March it is planned to hold complex check of Thermal Power Station-10 in Angarsk. It will take a month. Experts of other regions of the Siberian federal district of Rostekhnadzor Administration will take part in the actions.
