OREANDA-NEWS. March 6, 2008. In January-February 2008, Vladivostok Container Terminal LLC increased its throughput by 47%, year-on-year, to 33,690 TEU, the company’s press center reports. Transshipment of export containers grew by 58%, year-on-year, to 14,634 TEU, import grew by 38%, year-on-year, to 11,495TEU, coastal trade containers – up by 40% to 7,607 TEU.

In February 2008, VCT handled 18,461 TEU (+72%, year-on-year) including 8,331 TEU of export containers (2-fold increase), 6,256 TEU of import containers (+46%), 3,874 TEU of coastal trade containers (+33%).
