OREANDA-NEWS. On March 04, 2008 Kazkommertsbank JSC (Almaty), being a listed company on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), provided KASE with the press release, saying, reported the press-centre of KASE:

On Friday February 29, Kazkommertsbank JSC executed the planned repayment of syndicated loan to the sum of 450 million of U.S. dollars.

The primary sum of loan, borrowed in August 2006 with 18-month term totaled 850 million of U.S. dollars. In August 2007, the bank repaid partially 400 million of U.S. dollars, having used the option of prescheduled repayment.

This loan was organized by Citibank, N.A., Deutsche Bank AG, ING Bank and Mizuho Corporate Bank.

The borrowed funds were used to finance export and import operations of the bank's clients.
