OREANDA-NEWS. February 29, 2008. The meeting of deputes of Mazhilis of RK Parliament with JSC Kazakhtelecom’s collective, devoted to explanation of main provisions of State’s Head Message to Kazakhstan nation ,was held in Astana city, reported the press-centre of  Kazakhtelecom.

The deputies of Mazhilis Meiram Pshembaev and Zhakip Asanov, as well as Chairman of Managing Board of JSC Kazakhtelecom Askar Zhumagaliev have participated in its work.

Among discussed themes, in particular, the question of realization of “30 corporate leaders” program has been mentioned, as one of the urgent tasks sounded by President of РК in the annual Message. Therewith the Program realization has to contribute to increase of demand of kazakhstani enterprises for qualified personnel and adaptation of educational system to general trend, which is dictated by economic diversification and development of non-primary materials industry . The President has assigned the task of further realization of state educational program.

As deputy Meiram Pshembaev has noted, Head of State in own Message to nation foremost sounded short-term and intermediate term tasks on which decision it is necessary to concentrate, for the purpose of the further stable development of economy in conditions of world financial instability. They concern extractive industries, development of electric power industry, system of transportation, realization of “30 corporate leaders” program, agroindustrial complex.

Also the priorities of macroeconomic policy were defined, the range of assignments, concerning administrative reform, fiscal code, pressure reducing on entrepreneurial sector, was given.

As explained by Zhakip Asanov, the one burning problems in Kazakhstan and particularly in Astana, is provision of young families by housing. The President also gave the range of assignments on introduction of changes into State housing programme.

In turn Askar Zhumagaliev has noted that JSC Kazakhtelecom simultaneously with business projects conducts activity on decision of social tasks. The company participates actively in realization of State program on development of RK rural territories for 2004-2010, within the framework of which provides rural localities by the telephone communication.

JSC Kazakhtelecom participates in realization of State program on development of education in RK for 2005-2010, within the framework of which provides schools by telephone communication and access to Internet. Besides, company forwards significant resources for students study in technical Institutions of Higher Education of Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as for training, skill improvement and re-training. Company renders social support to employees and retirees, which are registered in company.

Askar Zhumagaliev also has informed that at present time in JSC Kazakhtelecom the integrated program of social responsibility is working out. On behalf of company’s collective he assured Mazhilis deputies that JSC Kazakhtelecom in the further will contribute to decision of tasks, assigned by Head of State in Message to Kazakhstan’s nation.
