OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 March 2008 was announced, that the  2nd All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference Habitat and Hunting Animals Fauna of Russia was held February 29, 2008 within the frames of the event.

The co-organizers of the conference: the Ministry for Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Department of Hunting Entities of the Ministry for Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Agriculture University, the Association RosOhotRybolovSoyuz, the Ministry for Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow region, the Moscow Association of Hunters and Fishermen, the Moscow Association of Nature Explorers.

A number of reports related to the condition of inhabitancy of separate kinds of the hunting animals and their groupings, interdependency between technogenic man-caused pollution of the inhabitancy of animals and hunting production have been considered at the plenary session.

The topic of casual and unpremeditated catching of no-purpose kinds of animals by means of a trap has caused big resonance at the audience. Nowadays the majority of kinds of animals are no longer under the threat of full disappearance. However the list of rare animal species which are being under the threat of disappearance, constantly increases.

The issue of the necessity of additional feed-up in hunting facilities was also of high interest for the attendees. Each participant not only attracted attention to available problems of the hunting facilities, but also offered the certain ways of their solution.

All speaker came to common opinion that Russia remains one of unique countries of the world with huge opportunities of hunting and hunting entities development. The utilization of fauna resources makes a life basis for many people living in the Russian Federation. They create a basis of its economy and provide for food safety of the country. And for today bioresources of Russia appeal for help and require a legislative protection To renew reputation of hunting entities in our country is the main goal of the conference organizers.
