OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 March 2008 was announced, that in quarter I, 2008 IDGC of Center aims to perform a significant volume of the repair program. Its target is to repair 1, 572.89 km of overhead lines (OL) of 35-110 kV (kilovolt) voltage - that is by 757.1 km more than the last year's indicators; 6, 632.94 km of electric systems of 0.4-10 kV (kilovolt) voltage - that is by 2,093.34 more than for the similar period of 2007.

This quarter's plan will also include repair of 97 substations of 35-110 kV and 1, 562 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV. For comparison, in quarter I of 2007, only 27 substations of 35-110 kV and 1, 385 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV were repaired.

In quarter I, much attention will also be paid to clearing of routes for overhead lines. Performance of these works will be resulted not only in reliability of power supply, but also fire-prevention of forests that is especially relevant during preparation for the spring period. The Company is aimed at assigning RUR 32.07 million for clearing of 0.4-110 kV OL routes in quarter I, 2008; that is by RUR 5.65 million more than in quarter I of the last year. The total area to be cleared by IDGC of Centre in the first three months is 2, 246.22 hectares of 35-110 and 0.4-10 kV OL routes.

The total expenses of DGC of IDGC of Centre for repair in quarter I of 2008 should equal RUR 242.97 million, including the repair of transmission lines of 35-110 kV will equal to RUR 28.18 million, repair of the equipment of substations of 35-110 kV voltage will equal RUR 17.5 million, repair of electric networks of 0.4-20 kV will amount to RUR 134.03 million, other repairs will cost RUR 31.16 million.
