OREANDA-NEWS. March 4, 2008. With the view to modernize the Turkmen television channels the President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan to conclude the contract for procurement of next generation computers, spare parts to the operating audio and video facilities, radio relay and direct broadcast receiving and transmission equipment amounted to US$ 2.685,235 to the press offices in the velayats of the Television Directorate General, the hub office in Ashgabat with the Eurasia Trans B&PE Limited Company (Cyprus). The Resolution stipulates for putting the equipment into operation in June 2008.
