OREANDA-NEWS. On March 03, 2008. The insurance company ROSNO-MS and Russian Independent Trade Unions Federation have decided on joint action to implement socio-economic policy beneficial for the employed population of the Russian Federation, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

In view of the objectives set by the Russian President to improve the country’s healthcare system, the insurance company ROSNO-MS and Russian Independent Trade Unions Federation have decided on joint use of their accumulated expertise for the purpose of developing proposals for improvement of healthcare and medical insurance legislation. To this end, the parties signed a Protocol of intentions, whereby they agreed to join efforts to improve organization of medical services rendered to the employed population.

This cooperation between ROSNO-MS and Russian Independent Trade Unions Federation is expected to facilitate improvement of the employees’ awareness of their rights with respect to medical assistance and quality thereof. Furthermore, the parties will combine their efforts to investigate how satisfied are the OMI clients, and to develop preventive care and health improvement programs for the employed population.
