OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 March 2008 was announced, that Delegation of Indian Ministry of Defence had visited FSUE “PO “Sevmash”.

Secretary of Ministry of Defence, first Deputy of Indian Ministry of Defence, Mr. Vejay Singkh and Indian ambassador Mr. Shukla visited enterprise. During visit they have carried negotiations with Sevmash administration, checked working progress on aircraft carrier “Vikramaditya” (former Russian “Admiral Gorshkov”) and inspected one of the largest workshops - Hull prefabrication-welding shop.

Meeting was held on high level, parties discussed issues on repair and reequipment of ship. Indian military department evaluated scope of works within several hours, which delegation spent on aircraft carier.
